About Higley High School
Higley High School is a comprehensive, 9-12 high school rated "A" by the Arizona Department of Education, serving the educational needs of students in Gilbert, AZ. Higley High School was awarded an A+ School of Excellence® designation by the Arizona Education Foundation. Higley offers a wide range of curriculum designed to challenge all students and prepare them for college and careers after high school. Some of these programs include a full range of AP, honors, and dual enrollment courses along with Career and Technical Education and Engineering programs.
In addition to a commitment to outstanding academics, Higley High encourages all students to participate in extra-curricular activities. Whether it be the fine arts, sports, student council, or one of many campus clubs, Higley High is the place to get involved and enhance your high school experience.

Announcements
The District Steering and District Review Committees for the K-5 English Language Arts High Quality Instructional Materials Adoption presented their recommendations to the Governing Board on December 9, initiating the 60-Day Public Review. HUSD families, teachers, staff, and community members are invited to provide feedback on the committees' recommendations. Your input is valuable in this process! All materials are on display at the District Office in the Board Room for you to review. Please consult the schedule for the operating hours. The 60-Day Public Review will run through February 10, 2026. Thank you for participating! Schools will host open house events for parents and students throughout January. Events are designed to help families learn about academic offerings, extracurricular programs, and the supportive learning environments across HUSD schools. The district encourages both new and returning families to participate and explore the opportunities available for the upcoming school year.

Kevin will perform “Dragon Dance” again at the upcoming Joint Chinese Exchange Concert hosted at Higley High School on February 11, 2026.
